Responsible for assisting guests with their product purchases within the restaurant. Provide food information to guests to assist them with their meal decisions. Communicate with kitchen staff to submit guests’ orders and to address any potential issues. Will serve guest alcoholic beverage orders, must be 18 years old to complete this task and will be under adult supervision. Ensure proper payment has been received and change given back to guests. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Focuses on the safe operation of the attractions while consistently providing outstanding customer service to all guests and coworkers at GCAP. Promote a fun and friendly environment. Position will be working outdoors in all weather conditions overseeing an attraction operation. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Tram Cashier is the first point of contact to the valued Glenwood Caverns Adventure park, GCAP, guest. Must have a passion to provide first class service be being an outstanding customer service agent. Efficiently and quickly explain to each guest the difference between products. Receives payment from guest and enters appropriate information into computer software. Will also be asked to open and close drawer, explain and sell the products within GCAP. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Is responsible for but not limited to opening and closing of tram while providing excellent customer service. Load and unload guest focusing on customer service and safety. Assist with transporting supplies up and down the mountain on the gondola. Will observe and anticipate weather conditions. Assist with tram faults that occur. Transport interoffice correspondence to base area and effectively monitor and control crowds that gather at the top of the tram.
Responsible for assisting guests with their product purchases within the Gift Shop. Products may include but not limited to ride tickets, cave tours, candy and other GCAP items within the Gift Shop. Restock products that are low in volume and ensure a very neat and clean Gift Shop. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Responsible for transporting guests up and down Iron Mountain when weather forces Tram closure. Position requires a valid CDL license to operate buses. Assist with park attraction, train, while vehicles are not in use; as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the park. Responsible for cleaning and inspecting vehicles each day it is used. May be assigned other duties by supervisor.
Position is responsible for the preparation, production and service of the menu items. Will also be asked to assist with food prep and service from other cooking stations as needed. Assists in ensuring kitchen is clean and safe. Organize work space and food to ensure seamless transition between working shifts and amount of wasted food. Will be asked to assist with unloading of daily deliveries and provide input into needed food supplies and quantities. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Responsible for assisting guests within the Photography Souvenir program. Explain and sell photo offerings. Will also assist with selling of beverages and general Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park merchandise.
Position is responsible for ensuring GCAP is neat and tidy for all guests and employees. Clean common areas, bathrooms, restaurant, gift shop, plaza area, break room etc. Types of cleaning will include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, cleaning mirrors, power washing, emptying trash bins, etc. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your supervisor.
Responsible for providing outstanding walking tours to our guests in one of the top ten caves in the nation. Share historic and geological information to each guest on tours. Will assist with cave and park maintenance, to include but not limited to changing light bulbs, picking up trash in cave and plaza, weekly cave spraying and lint pick up from fairy caves. Ensure guest safety and cave conditions maintained while on tours. Assist with other park operations when asked.
Is responsible for but not limited to assisting Operator, opening and closing, attending lower gondola and provide excellent customer service. Loading and unloading items on and off gondola cars. Working with Base Manager and Operators to identify potentially hazardous weather patterns. Perform routine safety inspections and be well versed on emergency scenarios.
To be available to guests and their questions. Be able to make people smile! Provide medical assistance to guests as needed. Work closely with MOD and others in regards to guest incidents. If needed communicate with local emergency crews regarding injured parties medical status. Ability to execute and assist with any emergency plans and or situations.

Restock products that are low in volume and ensure a very neat and clean Gift Shop. Will assist manager with training, scheduling and ordering of products when needed. Will be responsible for ensuring all Gift Shop employees are following GCAP policies and procedures. Complete other tasks or duties as they are assigned by your manager.
